I first saw this white board at my son’s nursery school. It is just the right size for them, there is plenty of space on both sides for the kids to draw and write. The huge tray between the boards holds all sorts of markers, erasers, rulers and tracing materials. My son's teachers told me what she likes about this unit is that it rolls around easily. When it is not in use it can be pushed into a corner and when they want it, they unlock the wheels and roll it back into the middle of the art center to use.

I also noticed that the kids love the trays. They don’t have to hold all the colors they want to use, they just put them down on the tray where they are still handy but completely out of the way. I love the fact that my son's nursery school is providing him with an instrument to experiment with color and express himself safely, as well as a way to practice his letters and numbers. The bottom of the markerboard features an aluminum “lip” or “ledge” where the markers and eraser can be stored when not in use.
