Maple Curved Podium

This maple podium features a beautiful curved silhouette!

Are you in the market for a Curved Maple Podium? Do you have something to say? Do you want to be heard loud and clear? Do you know someone who does? Well, I do. My friend Jane is the leader of a Retail Therapy Group. This is a group of women (and actually some men, as well) that prefer to shop away their stress, rather than choose more potentially dangerous stress relievers (you know...sex, drugs, rock & roll...). The group meets Wednesday nights (I know, kind of cliche, right?) at 7 pm. It is also sort of a social networking group. At the Wednesday night meetings shopping "dates" are made between members. People choose a day that they know they will probably be really stressed out and sign up for "shopping time". They are then paired with another member with the same day and coordinating time schedule. For example, Kim has a big meeting at work on Friday morning, so she signs up for a "shopping time" on Friday evening. Elisa has to babysit her sister's bratty kids on Friday because they go to one of those private schools that seem to have random days off when the "regular" kids still have to go school and parents still have to work. After spending all morning and afternoon with those kids, she will certainly need a little stress relief, so she signs up for Friday evening as well. So now, Kim and Elisa will go shopping together Friday evening. Now, I know what you're thinking.... what if Kim and Elisa don't get along, doesn't that just totally defeat the purpose? Well, they don't need to drive together and they don't even need to shop at the same stores if they don't want to. It's all up to them how they set it up. So the next Wednesday when everyone shows up to the meeting they share their "date" with everyone else and, of course, show off what they bought (isn't that what this is all about anyways, SHOPPING!)

Anyways, back to why I started writing this in the first place. Jane decided that she wanted a better way to communicate at the meetings. At first people were just standing up at their seats and talking about their dates and what they bought. She thought that was a little too much like "stand up and tell the class your name and something about yourself". She wanted this to be more like Show & Tell; more of a presentation. She was in the market for something to make her 'presenters' feel special. Being that it is a Retail Therapy Group, everyone got to shop for the perfect product, and at a reasonable price. Well, one of the members, Kaitlin, found this website, Podiums2go.com, and found an awesome podium for the group. The podium has a beautiful maple finish and a built-in sound system. It was affordabe, too! Podiums2go.com has TONS of other styles too! Seriously, check them out if you are in the market for one of these things... and uh... who isn't? They're pretty darn cool, even if just to pretend you're important!

You know you want to look at some more:

Simple design lecterns for all your multimedia needs

Multimedia Lectern with space for all your electronics

Similar names: fully feature podiums
A multimedia lectern is like having a closet, a display table and a podium all in one. I manage a small hotel in a small town and we host several weekly meetings, conferences, and other receptions in our conference room. We always faced the same dilemma: needing storage space, as well as a display area for our projector, document camera and other equipment. Because space was limited, we needed an all-in-one unit that could provide us with storage and give our presenters an area to speak behind and work off of.
We found just what we needed with this multimedia podium. This podium holds our document camera or our projector in the side drawer, while the other equipment or accessories can be safely stored in the spacious cabinet ( 38”w x 28”h x 18-1/5”d). The lectern has a huge top surface ( 38”w x 39”d) with ample space for a laptop, LDC monitor or a large binder. The best feature, in our opinion, is the locking mechanism which locks the keyboard flip up door, the side drawer and the cabinet doors. All the locks are keyed the same and the unit comes with a total of 4 keys. Also, the podium has large cable port for several wires to enter and exit. I almost forgot: casters! Yes, this unit also features concealed casters so it can be rolled into position in a flash.
For a more detailed description and a view of more options Click Here. We never knew this multimedia podium was going to be such a success until it was used for the Schumacher’s 50th wedding anniversary. Their son put on a slide show and showed pictures during the entire night and the speech: unforgettable!

Presidential Speaker Podium

This speaker podium is designed for the president!

SKU: PRSLCTNBL

Similar names: podiums, lectern, lecterns, wood lectern, lecturn, lecturns

Every time I've seen the president give a speech, I noticed he's always behind this huge speaker podium. No matter where he is speaking from, he's behind that speaker podium. While he's babbling on and on, I can't help but tone him out and pay more attention to the speaker podium. Sometimes, in the past, I've wondered, does he travel with his speaker podium, so that if he needs to make a speech, he has it with him? If he does, does it fly with him on Air Force One? Because that would be kind of cool. He could almost practice his speech if he had his presidential speaker podium right there with him while he's flying. And does he have just one presidential speaker podium, or does he have just a bunch of them? So many questions, and really no one to answer them!

And yes, I know I should really be paying attention to the speech, and not the presidential speaker podium when he's talking. I'm sure he has a lot of important things to say when he's speaking, but the words "broken promises" come to mind, so I can't help toning him out. The presidential speaker podium is more attractive to look at anyway. It looks like it is made from real wood with what looks like a medium finish. And the dark blue top screams "I'm the president", but I've also wondered do they make other colors? I'm sure they must. Maybe some day I'll find the answers...

Microphone Mounting Kit

SKU: MICMNTKIT Buy Now

This kit allows a microphone from a house sound system to be mounted to most of our lecterns and podiums. This kit includes a clamp mount, a flexible gooseneck and a shock mount microphone holder.

The clamp will attach to any surface up to 1-5/8" thick and screws tight from the bottom. The flexible gooseneck allows the microphone to be positioned where it is needed. The shock mount microphone holder isolates the microphone (not included) from vibrations that cause unwanted noise while holding the microphone securely. Once the clamp is mounted, the gooseneck and microphone holder just screw together. We have a large selection of podiums and sound systems as well, check out our entire website here !
