I found this decorative metal easel at easels.us.com and thought it would be great for my salon! The easel is so beautiful with scrolling metal accents and an adjustable shelf. The shelf will hold images ranging up to 51" in height. The silver finish has a really upscale feel to it. I plan on buying this easel to put in my salon. Every few weeks I do a new hairstyle, or updo, or nail job that is truly spectacular. I can now photograph these and display them either outside or inside to show my clients what is possible for them!
The easel stands just about 6' tall from floor to top. That is plenty large enough to catch the interest of just about anyone. Even if I owned a mall, hotel, restaurant, or art gallery, this easel would be perfect for those areas, as well! Well, I'll let you know how it turns out once I buy it.
UPDATE: I finally bought this easel and it is so awesome! Easels.us.com has tons of different upscale easels to choose from. It was so easy to set up and it looks smashing in my salon. I was recently touring a new art exhibit at a museum in New Bedford when I came across this decorative display easel, which was holding a gorgeous piece of artwork. My eye was instantly drawn to the artwork because of the decorative display easel. The easel featured a decorative, "scrolly" design, unlike any other display easel I had ever seen before. And unlike most other easels, which are usually an ugly wood color, this decorative display easel was made from metal, which seemed more appropriate for the type of art that was displayed in the exhibit.

I backed up from the piece of art, and stood almost across the room and gazed at the easel. The decorative display easel stood there like a lively tree, growing towards the sky. The piece of art was that of a large tree off in the distance. The easel choice was very appropriate. Instead of it just being something to prop the artwork up against, it became a part of the piece of art. GENIUS! I could have stared into the painting, imagining myself under the tree all day, had it not been for the crowd of people wanting to look at the artwork I was standing in front of across the room. Oh well.
