I work at FYE and this detachable CD display rack is a lifesaver! We like to display our sale CD's (you know, the ones you've never heard of but still cost $11.00 because we are FYE and WICKED EXPENSIVE). We used to shove them in cardboard boxes in the hopes that some poor, music-deprived guests would REALLY feel the need to rifle through them. That didn't work out so well. So, we created an ad-hoc FYE task-force to solve the bad CD-selling dilemma. Justin was the leader of our task force at first, but he was too busy buying hundreds of dollars worth of beanie babies for his "other job". I found this strange but he says they were for some sort of props and he swore he would return them the next day. Come to think of it, I still haven't seen those things back in the store... hmm.... well, that's beside the point. The point is, he was a bad leader of our task force, so I took over. Lo and behold, it only took me like 5 seconds to find the perfect CD displayer. We have an old PRESTO slatwall system in the back that we never use so I decided to search for some sort of accessories for that. I found this detachable CD display rack on MEGA-CLEARAAAANCE (*Oprah voice*) at plasticrafters.com. It is only available for a limited time because once they're gone, they're gone, but I ordered 25 right away (LOTS of bad CD's). Super-serious bad CD selling dilemma SOLVED by the FYE task-force. Go, Go Power Rang.... Ok, we're not THAT good!

But, here is the website if you are ever in need of a baaahgain:

Glass CD Tower

This glass CD tower is on sale at an affordable price!

Sku: CD3916

Similar names: CD display, CD tower, CD rack, CD racks, CD towers, CD holder, CD holders

I have quite the music collection. I mean everyone has cds and dvd's, but when I say collection, I mean tons of cds. Some cds I'm not proud to say I own, like music from boy bands or pop groups, but everyone has cds like that in their collection (whether they admit it or not). Lately, they've been getting strewn all over my house. I have yet to invest in a CD tower or CD rack, and thought maybe it was time.

I'm kind of cheap, though I'd like to call it "thrifty", so I didn't want to spend a lot on a CD tower. While surfing the web, I came across Plasticrafters.com, a discount site that had a bunch of products at really low prices. I found this great CD tower that could hold up to 70 cds. Now to the average person, 70 cds seems like a lot, but that is mearly half my collection. So I bought 3 of the CD towers, because they didn't have that many left and at about 60% off their original price, I couldn't pass them up. The CD towers are made from tempered glass with these acrylic rods to display your cds on. The glass on top is also beveled, making it look really upscale. Each CD tower also has a small footprint, so it won't take up that much space in my house. I have a small house, so any extra room is valuable. I would recommend this site to anyone.
