Every trade show our company exhibits at, we have this portable magazine rack set up right in front of our booth. Ever since we starting using this particular magazine rack, we've had a great turn out, with a constant flow of interested customers. We call it our lucky magazine rack. At a recent trade show, a bunch of us were setting up the company booth and hadn't really noticed "Lucky" was missing. The magazine rack is usually one of the last things to get set up. Once everything else was set up, we all were frantic, looking everywhere for our lucky magazine rack. No one we asked had seen it, packing neatly away in its black case. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a gleam of silver and went running towards it. Some other vendor picked up our magazine rack, thinking that "it was theirs". Ya right! "Get your own lucky magazine rack, pal!" I said! The nerve of some people!

I took "Lucky" back to our booth, and set it up, with nice new 2009 Car magazines on it, advertising our new vehicles. I no sooner had it all set up, and the customers started swarming to our booth. Whether by chance, or our magazine rack is actually lucky, I'm glad we have it back.
