The other day, my boss comes over and says “Hey, you ready for the job fair next week?! I hear there are a lot of promising prospects attending!” In sheer panic, I rummage through my notes and date book and nervously reply, “Um, no sir. I thought I wasn’t going to this upcoming job fair. But I can just rearrange my schedule to go.” To which his response was, “You’re damn right you will! I need you there. You’re our job fair expert!” Only having been to one in the 8 months I’ve been employed, I have no idea how I became the “job fair expert.” I don’t know who I crossed in my past life, or what I did to deserve this, but so began my frantic attempt at preparing our table for the job fair.

Brochures, flyers, a table cover, the list of things needed seemed endless! And with only a few business days to prepare, I had no idea how it was all going to come together. My boss even threw another curve ball at me; he had an idea (in his sleep no less!) for a printed table skirt with something catchy on the front to attract attention. Most companies that did such things had lead times of 4-8 business days, then even more time for shipping. I don’t have time for that! Then, by some random act of God, I came across TableSkirts.us.com. It seemed to be the answer to my prayers. They had this convertible table skirt which ships in 24 hours! You can’t get much more perfect than that, or can you? Because I wasn’t sure what size table the site was going to provide us with, I went with the convertible table skirt, as it converts to fit both a 6’ and 8’ table. Honestly, I’d love to personally thank the creator of that site. Genius I tell you, GENIUS!
